Mike Rusk
Lead Guitar / Vocals
Mike Rusk is a self-taught musician who discovered his passion for the guitar during his teenage years. Influenced by the rich sounds of classic rock and folk rock, he diligently honed his guitar skills and soon unveiled his natural singing talent.

Mike's musical journey has led him to perform with numerous cover bands in both his hometown of Cincinnati and the Metro Detroit area. In the early 2000s, he took a bold step by setting aside his guitar to become the lead singer for the popular local rock/pop band Scoot Magoo.

After a 15-year break, Mike made a return to music, refocusing on his guitar skills. In late 2023, he joined Wingman Detroit as their newest lead guitar player, bringing renewed energy and a fresh perspective to the band.
Sean McCrystal
Bass Guitar / Vocals
In November 1979, Sean McCrystal spent Thanksgiving weekend at his best friend’s grandparents' house near Toledo, Ohio. The highlight? His cousin’s rock band, Pyramid, was rehearsing that Saturday. Just six months earlier, Sean saw his first heavy metal band, The Almighty Strut, perform during halftime at a Detroit Express soccer game at the Pontiac Silverdome. As luck would have it, Pyramid’s keyboard player was selling a starter bass! Sean was only 13 and had no money, but his friend’s mom agreed to write a $40 check for a used Univox four-string bass.
By August 1981, Sean was playing his first set in a bar at age 15—well, technically, it was a Saturday afternoon wedding reception for his friend’s drum instructor in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was hooked for life.
Forty-five years later, Sean is still up on stage, swaying, dancing, pulling faces, and playing covers. And he wouldn’t have it any other way.
